Why a specialist
Why patients from Elephant & Castle choose a specialist
- 01Fifteen years, one focus
Krina has spent more than 15 years focused on TMD, headache and tinnitus. She brings that experience to your one-to-one assessment and treatment plan.
- 02Grounded in orofacial pain
Her Masters module in the Assessment and Management of TMD and her 2014 Orofacial Pain Clinic placement inform how she assesses jaw and facial pain.
- 03Jaw and headache training
Her training includes CRAFTA® Foundation Parts 1 & 2, the Watson Headache® Foundation Course and the Instituto Rocabado BOSCO TMD course. Your assessment brings the jaw, neck and nervous system together, rather than treating the jaw in isolation.
- 04Teaching audiology
Krina was an invited lecturer on an MSc Audiology programme in 2025. Her clinical focus includes jaw- and neck-related tinnitus, and she refers on to ENT when another specialist's opinion is needed.
- 05A published standard of care
The clinic publishes The TMD Physio Standard and a checklist you can use to choose any TMJ practitioner. You know in advance that your jaw, neck and nervous system will be assessed together, with evidence presented at its true strength.
What Krina treats

Meet Krina — a note on Elephant & Castle patients
How Krina works with Elephant & Castle patients
If you are dealing with a jaw that clicks, clenching, headaches or jaw- and neck-related tinnitus, your first appointment with Krina starts with a full assessment of your jaw, neck and nervous system together, not your jaw in isolation. Your treatment plan is built on published research, and Krina explains plainly what each option can and cannot be expected to do. Technology such as NESA neuromodulation, low-level laser or dry needling is added only where the evidence supports it, always inside an assessed plan. Your appointments are one-to-one with Krina. You agree clear goals together and review them at every visit. If anything needs a dentist, ENT or neurology opinion, Krina refers you on.
Wellness · for Elephant & Castle
The Signature Jaw Massage
After a week of deadlines, late service or long rehearsals, The Signature Jaw Massage is time set aside for unwinding. Designed by Krina and delivered by Krina or a therapist personally trained in her protocol, it is a wellness experience, not a clinical treatment, and it sits separately from physiotherapy care.
