A note on Waterloo & South Bank patients
Life around Waterloo and the South Bank runs on long shifts, tight deadlines and fixed curtain-up times. Shift work is common among hospital staff, while rehearsals and performances shape the day for performers and crew. Students and riverside office teams have their own schedules to work around. If you clench through a busy rota, notice your jaw clicking mid-rehearsal or have a headache that builds by mid-afternoon, those symptoms deserve attention. With the clinic now at home in Waterloo, specialist care can fit around your working day rather than take it over.

Meet Krina — a note on Waterloo & South Bank patients
How Krina works with Waterloo & South Bank patients
Your jaw symptoms are assessed in context. Every first appointment is a full assessment of the jaw, neck and nervous system together, not the jaw in isolation. Conditions Krina sees include jaw pain, clicking and locking, clenching and grinding, headaches, facial pain and jaw- and neck-related (somatic) tinnitus. You receive a clear explanation of your treatment options and goals agreed between you, which are reviewed at each visit. Treatment plans are built on published research, and Krina tells you plainly what each option can and cannot do. Technology can sometimes form part of a plan. This includes NESA neuromodulation, low-level laser therapy, dry needling and TMJ Velvet radiofrequency and diathermy. Each is used solely where the evidence supports it, always inside an assessed plan. When something needs another specialist, Krina refers on to dentists, ENT or neurology. Every appointment is one-to-one with Krina.
